Dr. Simmons, his wife Alice, their two sons Christopher and Matthew are pictured with their golden retriever Charlie. Dr. Simmons was born in Lake Worth and attended the University of Florida, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1981. He established Simmons Veterinary Clinic in 1982 and the professional pet center complex in 1988.
