DOES YOUR PET DIAL 1-800-COLLECT?
Until your pet can phone home he/she needs your help to insure his/her safe return if lost or stolen.

DON'T LET YOUR PET BECOME A STATISTIC!

Home Again is a small microchip-about the size of a grain of rice that is injected under the skin between the shoulder blades. It is administered just like a vaccination for your pet, and is virtually painless. The microchip contains a number that is unique to your pet and is registered nation wide with the AKC (American Kennel Club).
When a lost pet is scanned with a hand held scanner, the number appears on the scanners digital screen. From there it is a simple matter of contacting the AKC to determine where that pet lives, and the veterinarian that installed the microchip. These scanners are used by all of the public animal shelters and by many veterinarians.
The price of microchip is $39.00 and the cost to register the chip with the AKC is $12.50.

EXCUSE OUR DUST!
As our SVC family grows, the need for space grows too. We are expanding our boarding facility to include a seperate reception area for check in and check out, an exam room for physicals before you leave, boarding suites for the "ultimate" boarding experience, and a grooming parlor for professional grooming.

STAFF EDUCATION
SVC would like to thank Novartis Animal Health and Melissa Jones and Miki Court for the fantastic seminar they provided our entire staff, on flea and heartworm prevention.

DID YOU KNOW--Fleas seen on your pet make up only 5% of the flea problem?? Eggs, flea maggots (larvae) and pupae are the part you don't see and make up the remaining 95%. It is important to realize that no ONE flea product controls or prevents fleas 100%. Combinations of adulticides (Topspot & Advantage), to kill the adults, and growth regulators (Program-for fleas & Sentinel-which includes heartworm prevention) are a winning combination. Please ask our staff for more information.
